How difficult is it to run your business
A BUSINESS BLOG TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS SIMPLE
WELCOME,
I’m Egemen Tumturk, editor and creator of Run My Biz Simple — a space born from one simple question: Why do so many companies make business harder than it needs to be?

After years of watching organizations overcomplicate what should be simple, I decided to build this platform as a place where professionals can share ideas, challenge assumptions, and explore how to run businesses with clarity, focus, and simplicity.
I hold a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Université Galatasaray and an MBA from Istanbul Bilgi University. Later, I completed an executive program on Corporate Innovation at Stanford Graduate School of Business and had the honour of studying Disruptive Strategy under Prof. Clayton Christensen at Harvard Business School.
My career has spanned multiple industries and continents — from HSBC Bank and Kärcher GmbH to leadership roles at Vestel Electronics, Vestel Shanghai, Kärcher and Bugaboo. In 2020, I joined Dutch premium e-bike brand QWIC as COO and Board Member, leading supply and customer operations.
Today, I serve as Vice President of Sales & Business Development for Europe and the Americas at Vestel Mobility, where I lead our global commercial strategy across EV charging infrastructure, battery energy storage systems, and smart mobility solutions. My work focuses on scaling new technologies, building strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of sustainable transportation across some of the world’s most dynamic markets.
The idea for Run My Biz Simple came from my “Ikigai” — the intersection of what I love, what I’m good at, and what the world needs. The spark was ignited during Harvard’s Disruptive Strategy program and strengthened by the collective innovation mindset I experienced at Stanford.
This blog is a continuation of that journey: a place to explore why some companies win while others stall, and how leaders can build organizations that run smarter, faster, and simpler.
I’m glad you’re here — and I look forward to hearing your ideas and experiences on running business the simple way.
